Team Captains' Corner
Call one of our team recruiters; Mary (Charlottetown) at 369-7758 or Ruby (Outer areas) to register your team.  Recruiters are available Monday through Friday, from 9 am until 5 pm to help you. 

Once you have registered, we will send you a kit with everything you to get started.   Open it right away and you could win a prize!  Kit includes

A Big Brothers Big Sisters staff member will support your team throughout the campaign.  They can help you sign up for on-line fundraising and can provide other tools like donation letter templates. 

 

Don't forget to check out our Facebook or Twitter sites for the Fundraising tip of the day!  The sooner you register, the sooner you can start working towards your team’s fundraising goals.  And the most popular bowling times book quickly, so don’t wait!   

Everyone who raises $100 will take home a t-shirt & a chance to win an Exclusive, Escorted Trip for 2 to a Caribbean Destination with The Travel Store’s Exclusive Holiday Reunion 2013.  For every extra $50 you raise, you’ll receive another ballot and you can double your ballots by raising money on-line.  And there are other great Raise & Win prizes!

I’m a new Team Captain – now what?

 

1.      Ask 4 or 5 more people to join your team

2.      Call us to book a time to bowl in your community – we will send you a package with everything you need

3.      Get your team together & set a fundraising goal

4.      Help your teammates register for on-line fundraising

5.      Start fundraising

6.      Send in your Team Sheet.       Dress up and join us at the Lanes of Fame

8.       Celebrate your accomplishments!

Special Team Captains Prizes 

We would like to recognize the work our Team Captains do to make our fundraiser a success, so we have a number of new prizes just for you!

  • Thank-you Draw:  One Night’s Accommodation for 2 at the Delta Prince Edward
  • Get your team sheet in by February 24th and you will be entered into a draw for a $50 Anne of Green Gables ChocolatesBasket
  • Open your package early and be entered into a draw for a weekly prize –$25 Charlottetown Atlantic Superstore Gift Card (2 weeks), $20 Papa Joe’sGiftCard(3 weeks) & a $25Old NavyGift Card.  To enter:  Email Heather at bbbspei.ca the answer to the question on the back of your team captain's sheet. 

Other Things You Need to Know

New Video Contest – Produce the best video promoting Bowl and you could win a $50 Confederation Court Mall Gift Card.  Win second place and take home a $25 Old Navy Gift Card.  To enter:  Post the video to our Facebook page

T-Shirts – Everyone who raises more than $100 takes home a t-shirt.  If you raise $250, you take home a t-shirt and a $25 Subway Gift Cards….and so on.

We encourage each team member to raise $100 – In addition to being an important fundraiser, Bowl for Kids Sake is a fun community event.  We want everyone to come away from our event with a T-shirt and a Dream Vacation ballot.  And if each team member meets the goal, your team will be entered into a draw for a Subway Breakfast on Us

Raising $100 isn’t as hard as you think – Ask 10 friends for $10 or sell 20 Raffle tickets (we provide). Check the fundraising sheet, our Facebook or Twitter, or give us a call for more easy ideas!

There are great Team Name, Team Costume, Team Spirit and Team Fundraising prizes for each location!

On-line prizes – there are weekly prizes for people who raise money on-line, a prize for the top fundraiser and a NEW prize - Raise $50 dollars on-line by Feb10th and be entered into a draw for a $50 Confederation Court Mall Gift Card.

1000+ club – Raise more than a $1000 (individually or as a team) and be celebrated on our website, in our newsletter, and on Social Media (Facebook & Twitter).  You will also be entered into a draw for One Night’s Accommodation for 2 at the Stanley Bridge Country Resort
