Online Fundraising General Instructions
On-line pledging is quick, easy, and secure. You don't have to change how you fundraise! You just need to spend an extra 10 minutes adding a new tool that will help you reach your fundraising goals faster. You will receive twice as many Dream Vacation ballots and you can win great prizes just by receiving pledges on-line!
You can be successful setting up a simple on-line fundraising page, but if you want to use all of the features, download this handy how-to guide.

How to Sign Up to Raise Funds on-Line
1. Go to the website www.pei.kintera.org/bfks
2. Click Register to Bowl. Indicate if you want to … join a Team, start a Team, or join as an Individual
3. If you participated in Bowl for Kids Sake on-line last year, look for the click here at the top of the page where it asks if you have participated in a “Friends asking Friends” event. Enter your username and password from last year (contact us if you can’t remember your username)
4. If you are new to Bowl for Kids Sake on-line fundraising, just fill in your contact details and choose a username and password.
5. Set up your individual page. Click Continue and then “Start Here!”on “MY HQ” and you will be guided through the process of setting up your Fundraising Page. Update your page anytime by clicking the Build/Edit My Webpage link on the right side of your HQ page.
6. To log back in, just click on the Log-In tab at the top of the Home Page
7. On Bowling Day, click on the Reports Tab of your HQ, scroll down and click printable (right side). A new box will open with a printable report, print it and bring it with you!
Making the most of on-line pledging
1. E-mail! E-mail! E-mail! Research shows that you will be more successful if you e-mail people three times. Send an email to yourself and then forward it to your family, friends & colleagues (easier than setting up an on-line address book). Click on e-mail tab. The text is already prepared, just e-mail yourself.
2. Add a picture of yourself to your page so people know it is really you fundraising.
3. Ask your Facebook friends & Twitter followers to sponsor you. Look for links under the e-mail tab. Post multiple times to be truly successful
4. Add the link to your on-line pledging page to your e-mail signature.
