Big Brothers Big Sisters of P.E.I has been creating friendships since 1975.  We started out matching Big Brothers with Little Brothers and have grown to include a variety of different programs that serve both boys and girls.  We are proud of our achievements and continue to strive to be on the leading edge of the Big Brothers Big Sisters movement in History.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI  is a member agency of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC), the leading child and youth serving organization which provides mentoring programs across the country for over 80 years. As a national  organization it provides services and programs to 190 member agencies servicing more than 300 communities across the country, assisting member agencies with their hands-on work with parents, children, and volunteers. Ranging from staff training workshops to our leading Child Safety Program, which includes an emphasis on sexual abuse prevention, BBBSC works diligently to ensure that program quality is superior in all parts of the country. Big Brothers Big Sisters of PEI remains accountable to the families and communities we serve through our Board of Directors governance, and through our reporting requirements, agency reviews, and the operating standards set by BBSC.

We evaluate our programs and services on a regular basis through the written and verbal evaluations and feedback provided by the consumers of our services, our volunteers, and our community partners. The impact is Big!

Our agency funders receive annual statements of the agency's financial affairs and information on our programs and their measures of success.
